The Creamery

Masstown Creamery opened across from Masstown Market in August, 2018. Located in the same building as Masstown Butcher Shop, this smaller scale creamery processes milk from local dairy farms into bottled milk, cream, eggnog, cheese, butter and several flavours of delicious cheese curds. You can watch the procedures on-site through a viewing window.

Masstown Creamery was built on farmland originally belonging to the Fletcher Farm. Old Fletcher’s Finest is an aged cheddar hand crafted on these original lands, in our custom designed creamery using milk produced by local farmers. Each block of Old Fletcher’s Finest is taste tested before being cut and packaged for retail sale. Only blocks meeting the finest standard of premium quality are offered for sale.

Hundreds of cheeses from around the world are featured in the Creamery including unique cheeses from across Canada, the United Kingdom and of course a great selection of locally produced cheeses are featured, as well.

The gift displays in the Creamery are a delight to browse, with new items always arriving. Colourful kitchenware, tea towels, locally crafted wooden spoons and charcuterie boards, honey, jams, preserves and so much more.
