Produce

The Market has been built around the cornerstones of quality, selection, and value ever since our first fruits and vegetables were displayed in the summer of 1969. And those strong traditions continue today. Our produce bins, coolers, and aisles are overflowing with the freshest and best fruits and veggies that Nova Scotia and the world has to offer. We specialize in hard-to-find local favorites like marsh greens, gooseberries, beet greens, fiddleheads, and crabapples. Just-picked local harvests like blueberries, strawberries, raspberries, corn, pumpkins, and squash. Nova Scotia apples and pears, with over a dozen varieties in stock at any one time. Carrots, turnip, squash, onions, parsnips, lettuce, broccoli, cabbage, peppers, plums, and cherries. Quality produce from select growers in California, Florida, South America, and the world over, offering you the freshest oranges, grapefruits, kiwi, pineapples, mangoes, clementines, celery, mushrooms, peaches, nectarines, lychee nuts, bananas, and so much more!
