Captain Cob’s Crazy Corn Maze & Fun Farm

Captain Cob’s Corn Maze and Fun Farm is part of twenty-acres of new attractions across Highway #2 from Masstown Market’s Catch of the Bay Lighthouse and Fish & Chip Boat.
Kid friendly mascots Captain Cob and Pumpkin Patch set the tone for the pirate themed maze which covers over six acres. The maze is surrounded by other fantastic activities including a snack bar, picnic tables, an enormous jumping pillow and gigantic inflatable obstacle course, petting zoo plus an adventure playground. The land was originally farmed by a sea captain who was no doubt familiar with the privateer and pirate history along Nova Scotia’s legendary coast and provided Market owners Laurie and Lisa Jennings with a terrific excuse to break out their pirate costumes.

The corn maze idea came from local farmer Jonathan Millen, from Millen Farms, who used his equipment and expertise to transform the land into Masstown Market’s family-adventure. Since then several farmers in the area have helped plant and harvest the corn each year in support of Harvest For Hunger Nova Scotia, Canadian Food Grains Bank.

There will be a selection of u-pick pumpkins for sale later in the season.

The maze is now open weekends(Saturday & Sunday) only, with fall hours of 9AM until dusk. OPEN LABOUR DAY & THANKSGIVING MONDAY from 9AM until dusk. We will open at other times for groups/schools (phone 902-641-3033 to book). Closing for the season October 25th
