Captain Cob’s Crazy Corn Maze

Captain Cob’s Crazy Corn Conundrum and pumpkin u-pick is part of twenty-acres of new attractions across Highway #2 from Masstown Market and its newly opened lighthouse and Fish & Chips Boat.

Kid friendly mascots Captain Cob and Pumpkin Patch set the tone for the pirate themed maze which covers over six acres. The maze is surrounded by other fantastic activities including a snack bar, picnic tables, an enormous jumping pillow and gigantic inflatable obstacle course. There are also smaller mazes and other activities for smaller children or those looking for smaller adventures.

The land was originally farmed by a sea captain who was no doubt familiar with the privateer and pirate history along Nova Scotia’s legendary coast and provided market owners Laurie and Lisa Jennings with a terrific excuse to break out their pirate costumes.

The corn maze idea came from local farmer Jonathan Millen from Millen Farms who used his equipment and expertise to transform the land into Masstown Market’s newest family-adventure.

Visitors can also explore the u-pick pumpkin patch where there are already quite a few good sized pumpkins which will continue to grow into the fall.

The maze is open Friday, Saturday and Sunday for exploration from noon to dusk and is terrific fun for pirates both young and old. Bring your whole family to solve Captain Cob’s Crazy Corn Conundrum!
